OhmMapper resistivity survey

The new Geometrics OhmMapper is a capacitively coupled resistivity meter that measures the electrical properties of rock and soil without cumbersome ground stakes used in traditional resistivity surveys. A simple coaxial-cable array with transmitter and receiver sections is pulled along the ground either by a single person or attached to an all-terrain vehicle. Data collection is many times faster than systems using conventional DC resistivity.

Syscal Pro extension switching box for syscal pro and elrec pro units. Able to drive 24 to 193 electrodes. Dedicated to extended 2D or 3D arrays.

The electrodes numbering is done automatically from the unit; two push buttons allow to select the first electrode number to be used, to make it compatible with your SYSCAL Pro Switch unit, and with other SWITCH Pro boxes; The unit has its own screen allowing to see the electrodes number currently used together with the battery level.

Reception dipoles: the ten dipoles of the ELREC Pro offer an high productivity in the field for dipole-dipole, gradient or extended poly-pole arrays.

The VIP 500 is designed for ease of operation. It has a much simplified front panel: current setting is the only parameter to be selected by the operator. All the other functions, like voltage range settings, are fully automated.

Very high quality connectors, and heavy duty industrial components are used throughout. The VIP 5000 is shock resistant and weatherproof, for a higher reliability.

SYSCAL Pro Switch

The SYSCAL Pro Switch units use segments (seg) of multi-core cable which are reversible and interchangeable.

For instance, the SYSCAL Pro Switch 48 with 10m spacing has 4 segments of cable a, b, c, d, with 12 electrodes each, for a total line length of 480m. The SYSCAL is placed in the middle of the line, between segments b and c. If the profile to measure is longer than the line length, a ROLL ALONG technique can be applied where, after a first set of readings with (a, b, c, d), segment a is placed after segment d to form a new (b, c, d, a) combination etc.

The SYSCAL R1 PLUS Switch-48 is an all in one multi-node resistivity imaging system. It features an internal switching board for 48 electrodes and an internal 200W power source. The output current is automatic adjusted (automatic ranging) to optimize the input voltage values and ensure the best measurement quality. The system is designed to automatically perform pre-defined sets of resistivity measurements with roll-along capability. Four multi-colour cables with 12 electrodes takeout each are connected on the back of the resistivity meter.
