Gravity Meter- MGS-6

MGS-6 Gravity Meter

Micro-g LaCoste is proud to announce the next generation of marine based dynamic gravity meters: The Marine Gravity System-6 (MGS-6). It represents the next generation in a long line of LaCoste-based dynamic gravity systems, stretching back to the first successful dynamic gravity meter tests on ships more than 50 years ago. Note though, that the MGS-6 is more than a simple upgrade to the Air-Sea System II (AS-2). The MGS-6 is based on the smaller, lighter, more power-efficient TAGS-6 (airborne) platform, and employs the same full-force feedback sensor.

The G-822A is designed for use in airborne survey applications where a combination of high sensitivity and rapid sampling of the Earth's magnetic field are required. The system consists of a cesium-vapor sensor with its associated cables and driver electronic package, and a separate high resolution counter.

Land Magnetometer G-856

The G-­856 provides a reliable, low cost solution for a variety of magnetic search and mapping applications. Single key stroke operation means the G-­856AX can be operated by non-technical field personnel or used in teaching environments. The G-­856AX uses the well proven proton precession technology, allowing accurate measurements to be made with virtually no dependence upon variables such as sensor orientation, temperature, or location. The unit provides a repeatable absolute total field magnetic reading, traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.

Gravity Meter- CG-5 Autograv

CG-5 Autograv Gravity Meter

The CG-5 AUTOGRAV has a standard resolution of 1 microGal with a standard deviation that is < 5 microGals. It is the fastest, lightest, most cost efficient gravity meter on the market today.

With minimal training a user can quickly collect and record reliable gravity data.

Field repeatability tests are the best measure of a gravity meter’s performance. Documented field tests of the CG-5 AUTOGRAV meters show a standard deviation between individual readings and station values of better than 5 microGals.

Receiver- ELREC Pro Induced Polarisation (IP)

ELREC Pro Induced Polarisation (IP) Receivers

ELREC Pro: this new receiver is a new compact and low consumption unit designed for high productivity Resistivity and Induced Polarization measurements. It features some high capabilities allowing to work in any field conditions.

Reception dipoles: the ten dipoles of the ELREC Pro offer an high productivity in the field for dipole-dipole, gradient or extended poly-pole arrays.

Gravity Meter- INO Sea-Floor

The INO sea-floor gravity meter uses the well proven CG-5 Autograv™ fused quartz sensor in a submersible system. The INO is easy to operate, self-contained and comes in a standard model for 600m depths.


The INO has a standard resolution of 1 microGal with a standard deviation that is < 5 microGals.

Easy to Operate
With minimal training a user can quickly collect and record reliable gravity data. The INO connects to a standard 7- conductor marine winch cable for easy deployment.
