Carbon Dioxide Detector- Licor Fluxmeter

Carbon Dioxide Detector- Licor Fluxmeter

The WEST Systems Fluxmeter is a portable instrument for the measurement of diffuse degassing phenomena, based on the accumulation chamber method, suitable for volcanic and geothermal areas as well as soil respiration rate in agronomy. This method studied for soil respiration in agronomy (Parkinson, 1981) and for soil degassing in volcanic areas (Cioni et al. 1998), has been designed by WEST Systems to obtain a portable instrument that allows the performance of measurements with very good accuracy in a short time.

Magnetometer- Mobile Cesium G-822

Mobile Cesium Magnetometer G-822

The G-822A is designed for use in airborne survey applications where a combination of high sensitivity and rapid sampling of the Earth's magnetic field are required. The system consists of a cesium-vapor sensor with its associated cables and driver electronic package, and a separate high resolution counter.

Pressure Membrane Extractor, 100 Bars

Pressure Membrane Extractor, 100 Bars

The 1020, 100 Bar Pressure Membrane Extractor, is used to analyze the water-holding characteristics of soil samples at extremely high pressures. The Pressure Membrane Extractor uses a cellulose membrane supported on a screen drain plate. The cylinder is 2" (5 cm) high, with an inside diameter of 10" (25 cm). The 1020 consists of top and bottom plates, cylinder, all connecting bolts and seals, screen drain plate, and a side exhaust valve. A high pressure hose for connecting the extractor to a pressure source must be ordered separately.

Slammer with 30cm heavy duty waveguides

Slammer with 30cm heavy duty waveguides

The Slammer is a heavy-duty waveguide connector designed for rugged field use. It is designed for inserting waveguides into hard, dry, and compacted soils, and for comfort and ease in making multiple measurements. The removable 2.5 lb sliding hammer can be used to insert waveguides under the most difficult of conditions. Waveguides, ordered separately, are available in lengths ranging from 20 cm to 60 cm. Note: In order to use the Slammer with your Trase unit, the Trase must be running version 2110A software.

Gravity Meter- gPhoneX

gPhoneX Gravimeter

The Micro-g LaCoste gPhone gravity meter uses the Zero-Length Spring™ sensor technology to provide microGal repeatedly with vey low static drift which makes it the best suited as a monitoring meter. Whether you are interested in earthquake or volcanic studies, earth tide  or reservoir monitoring, the gPhone will out perform all others.  The gPhone can also be used as an ultra sensitive low frequency seismometer for these areas of studies. The gPhoneX gravity meter is based upon the LaCoste and Romberg technology that has dominated land gravity meters since 1939.

Spectrometer- RS-230 BGO Super-SPEC

RS-230 BGO Super-Spec radiation detector

The RS-230 Spectrometer is the state-of-the art in portable hand-held radiation survey search devices for the geophysical industry. It offers an integrated design with a large detector, direct Assay readout, data storage, full weather protection, ease of use and highest sensitivity in the market. The use of a BGO give very significant increase in performance over the normal NaI detector (typically 3x).

RoadScan 30

RoadScan 30

The affordable RoadScan™ 30 system provides users with an effective tool for quickly determining pavement layer thickness. RoadScan is able to collect data densities not obtainable using other labor-intensive methods. RoadScan data can be acquired at highway speeds, which eliminates the need for lane closures and provides a safer working environment. The RoadScan system is available in 1-4 channels for job site flexibility.Typical Uses for RoadScan Include:
