TitanSMA

TitanSMA Accelerometer

The TitanSMA is a strong motion accelerograph specifically designed for high precision observational and structural engineering applications and research, where scientists and engineers require exceptional dynamic range over a wide frequency band.

The TitanSMA features the Class “A” Titan triaxial force balance sensor with its low noise floor, exceptionally low hysteresis, and industry leading dynamic range.  The integrated digitizer and recorder facilitate both standalone and networked free-field monitoring deployments.

Magnetic Resonance- NUMIS Poly 4 channels Proton

NUMIS Poly 4 channels Proton magnetic resonance

Multi-Channel Magnetic Resonance sounding system for direct detection of groundwater - down to 150m depth. Groundwater resources evaluation: Determination of water level and quality; Lateral extension of an aquifer layer; Selection of the best place to drill; Prediction of yield, after calibration.

Carbon Dioxide Detector- Licor Fluxmeter

Carbon Dioxide Detector- Licor Fluxmeter

The WEST Systems Fluxmeter is a portable instrument for the measurement of diffuse degassing phenomena, based on the accumulation chamber method, suitable for volcanic and geothermal areas as well as soil respiration rate in agronomy. This method studied for soil respiration in agronomy (Parkinson, 1981) and for soil degassing in volcanic areas (Cioni et al. 1998), has been designed by WEST Systems to obtain a portable instrument that allows the performance of measurements with very good accuracy in a short time.

Continuous Monitoring Station

Continuous Monitoring Station

The instrument allows measurement of the soil degassing of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, methane and of the related environmental parameters.

Applications for Continuous Monitoring Station

  • vulcanology to understand the dynamics of volcanoes and for a global evaluation of the hazard connected with volcanic activity;
  • monitoring of geothermal areas;
  • soil respiration;
  • survey of landfill biogas emissions.
