StructureScan Mini

StructureScan Mini

The StructureScan™ Mini is GSSI’s all-in-one GPR system for concrete inspection. This hand held system locates rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, voids and can be used to determine concrete slab thickness in real-time.

The StructureScan Mini safely locates metallic and non-metallic targets within concrete structures up to a depth of 20 inches. The system incorporates an auto target feature that marks the detection of features of interest. This function also estimates the depth of targets and automatically adjusts the depth scale.

15 Bar Ceramic Plate Extractor

15 Bar Ceramic Plate Extractor image

The 1500F2, 15 Bar Pressure Plate Extractor, is used to analyze the water-holding characteristics of soil samples throughout the pressure range of interest in most agricultural applications. The pressure vessel is 4" (10 cm) deep and has an inside diameter of 12" (30 cm). Up to 4 ceramic plates can be accomodated at one time, allowing approximately 36 2-1/4" samples to be analyzed simultaneously. The Pressure Plate Extractor consists of a pressure vessel and lid, clamping bolts, O-ring seals, and outflow tube assemblies.

Applications

Trillium Borehole Broadband

Trillium Borehole Broadband Seismometer

The Trillium Borehole Seismometer is a very broadband seismometer designed for cased borehole deployments. The instrument is housed in a stainless steel enclosure incorporating a hole-lock mechanism to allow the instrument to be coupled to a deep borehole casing. Instrument recovery is aided by a fail-safe holelock release mechanism that prevents jamming to the casement during removal.

An advanced levelling system allows the unit to operate over a tilt range of +/-5 degrees. The axis stack is mechanically levelled to ensure that the vertical axis does not couple horizontal noise.

Slammer with 30cm heavy duty waveguides

Slammer with 30cm heavy duty waveguides

The Slammer is a heavy-duty waveguide connector designed for rugged field use. It is designed for inserting waveguides into hard, dry, and compacted soils, and for comfort and ease in making multiple measurements. The removable 2.5 lb sliding hammer can be used to insert waveguides under the most difficult of conditions. Waveguides, ordered separately, are available in lengths ranging from 20 cm to 60 cm. Note: In order to use the Slammer with your Trase unit, the Trase must be running version 2110A software.

Antenna- 200 MHz Shielded

200 MHz - Shielded Antenna

The 200 MHz can penetrate to a depth of 9 meters (30 feet), making it ideally suited for geotechnical and environmental applications, as well as archaeological investigations.

  • Center Frequency: 200 MHz
  • Depth Range: 0-9 m (0-30 ft)
  • Weight: 20.5 kg (45 lbs)
  • Dimensions: 60x60x30 cm (24x24x12 in)
  • Model 5106 (U.S. and Canada) Model 5106A (International)

Metal Detector- EM61

Metal Detector EM61

The EM61-MK2A is a high sensitivity, high resolution, time domain metal detector suitable for the detection of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal. Typical target response is a single, sharply defined peak, facilitating quick and accurate determination of location. Achievable depth of detection will depend on several target characteristics, with the surface area and orientation of the target of particular importance.

Soilmoisture probe

Soilmoisture probe

The 2100F Soilmoisture Probe is a specialized unit designed for investigation of soil suction in small regimes such as near the soil surface, or for laboratory work such as measuring soil suction values at various levels in soil columns. The porous ceramic cup is 0.25" (6 mm) in diameter and 1" (2.5 cm) long and attaches to the tensiometer body via a 6 ft. (1.8 m) length of nylon tubing.
