Response Hydra software

Response Hydra is used for the detection, processing and reporting of worldwide earthquakes by the National Earthquake Information Center. Response Hydra acquires real-time seismic data from the Nanometrics NaqServer utility and/or SeedLink Server utilities.  Real-time data processing is performed by Earthworm-based protocols.  Response Hydra allows seismologists the ability to process trace data for picks, associate picks into origins, determine initial rough locations and insert all data into Oracle Hydra database for further processing.

Gravity Meter- INO Sea-Floor

The INO sea-floor gravity meter uses the well proven CG-5 Autograv™ fused quartz sensor in a submersible system. The INO is easy to operate, self-contained and comes in a standard model for 600m depths.

Benefits

The INO has a standard resolution of 1 microGal with a standard deviation that is < 5 microGals.

With minimal training a user can quickly collect and record reliable gravity data. The INO connects to a standard 7- conductor marine winch cable for easy deployment.

Resistivity Imaging- Stratagem

The STRATAGEM provides high resolution electrical conductivity imaging of the subsurface for depths between 10 meters and 500 meters. Conductivity information is calculated from measurements of surface electric and magnetic fields along a series of profiles.

The software package includes a modified and updated version of the CXTFIT code of Toride et al.[1995] for estimating solute transport parameters using a nonlinear least-squares parameter optimization method. This code may be used to solve the inverse problem by fitting a variety of analytical solutions of theoretical transport models, based upon the one-dimensional advection-dispersion equation (ADE), to experimental results. The program may also be used to solve the direct or forward problem to determine concentrations as a function of time and/or position.
