The Mount Sopris WNA Truck-Mounted Winch is a rugged logging hoist capable of positioning a geophysical probe or other tool in a borehole. The winch is designed to be mounted to a truck, and can haul equipment loads up to 600 lbs at rates between 25 and 90 ft/min. The WNA is optimal for boreholes between 1000 and 1800 meters in depth and supports a wide variety of wire line types.

The 6005L2 Buriable Waveguide is designed to be installed permanently in the soil, and allows measurements to be made at any depth in the soil profile. The waveguide rods are 20 cm long and made of 1/8" (0.3 cm) diameter stainless steel rods. The Buriable Waveguide can also be used portably in light-duty applications and where space is limited. Extension cables of various lengths are available, allowing multiple waveguides to be connected and controlled from a central location.

Sampling Tube produces a smooth-walled hole, 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) in diameter, while extracting a soil sample 3/4" (1.9 cm) in diameter. The optional drop hammer is used to help insert the sampler into the soil, and to remove the sampler and extract a soil sample. An optional Puller Jack, Model 0220, is available to aid in removing the sampler from the soil.
