OhmMapper resistivity survey

The new Geometrics OhmMapper is a capacitively coupled resistivity meter that measures the electrical properties of rock and soil without cumbersome ground stakes used in traditional resistivity surveys. A simple coaxial-cable array with transmitter and receiver sections is pulled along the ground either by a single person or attached to an all-terrain vehicle. Data collection is many times faster than systems using conventional DC resistivity.

SIR 4000

Model SIR4000

The SIR® 4000 is GSSI’s first high-performance GPR data acquisition system designed to operate with analog and digital antennas. This evolutionary step allows true versatility and flexibility by supporting a wide range of users, beginner to advanced, in numerous applications.

The SIR 4000 incorporates advanced display modes and filtering capabilities for ‘in-the-field’ processing and imaging. Fully integrated, the system provides a simple user interface, plug-and-play GPS integration, and convenient data transfer options.

Electromagnetic- VLF System - EM16

Electromagnetic- VLF System - EM16

The EM16 VLF Receiver is the most widely used electromagnetic geophysical instrument of all time. Local tilt and ellipticity of VLF broadcasts are measured and resolved into inphase and quadrature components of VLF response. The EM16 has discovered several base and precious-metal ore bodies and many water-bearing fractures and faults. The EM16R Resistivity Attachment uses a pair of electrodes to measure the apparent resistivity of the earth. The combined EM16/16R instrument can detect a second earth layer if the layer occurs within the VLF skin-depth.

Seismograph- ES-3000

Seismograph ES-3000

A lightweight cost effective underground imaging tool including an ultra-portable recorder with all of the features.

If you are a geoscientist doing teaching or research, or just need an exploration seismograph to find bedrock, the ES-3000 is for you. The system includesESOS data acquisition software and the ES-3000 seismodule connects directly to your PC via the Ethernet port – no additional hardware or drivers are required.

Spectrometer- RS-120 Super-SCINT

RS 120 Handheld Radiation Detector

The new RS-120 Spectrometer is the state-of-the art in portable hand-held radiation survey search devices for the geophysical industry. It offers an integrated design with a large detector, direct Survey readout, Scan mode, data storage, full weather protection, ease of use and highest sensitivity in the market.

Total count display on front panel in cps at 1/sec update rate. Loud linear audio permitting eyes-free operation. USB earphone support for noisy area surveying.

Pressure Membrane Extractor, 0 TO 15 bar

Pressure Membrane Extractor image

The 1000 Pressure Membrane Extractor incorporates disposable cellulose membranes in the extraction of water from soil samples over a pressure range of 0 to 15 bars. A compression diaphragm in the lid holds the samples in firm contact with the membrane, ensuring proper hydraulic contact needed for the extraction process. The Pressure Membrane Extractor includes the following components: top and bottom plates, 5/8" (1.6 cm) high by 11" (28 cm) inside diameter cylinder and clamping bolts, cylinder seal O-rings, screen drain plate, compressing diaphragm, and eccentric clamping screw assembly.
